Marian Mroziewski Management Style and Ways to Utilize
Social Potential
This article is a presentation of the evolution of management concepts and the
effective use of employees. It provides a classification of management styles as
described in topical literature as separate categories not to be identified with
managerial styles. These styles have been categorized into the following groups:
personality–conceptual, scientific, teleological, holding, functional, and
national styles. The author gives an introduction to the theory of situational
management styles. He presents a selection based on the range and dynamics of
managerial staff activities in the enterprise with respect to the process of
organizational structure and culture adjustment to meet the current needs of
consumers as well as requirements dictated by market competition. Moreover, the
above principle facilitates an evaluation of already existing styles sorted by
selected methods of enterprise management considered most effective or
characteristic.
Anna Kozińska and Dorota Wieczorek Motivation–Oriented
Management Style (About the Building of Added Value Related Remuneration Systems)
In spite of the fact that questions in the field of human resource management
seem to have remained unchanged over the years, progress, discoveries, and
development have resulted in the “right answers” changing and being updated.
Worn stereotypes and outdated assumptions cannot serve as a basis. Flexibility,
openness, and keeping step with progress are very important. The objective of
this article is to share reflections on the practice of implementing new
solutions in the realm of remuneration systems and the building of an
organizational culture based on high labor requirements and results.
